Grants

Yurts to Universities seeks to help girls and women of all ages and at all grades from primary to university. Our grants can help with tuition, transportation costs, board and room, and any other costs associated with education.

First, our Grant Committee  identifies candidates for grants by contacting local school departments, accredited universities and other organizations for recommendations. We are looking for candidates from the Afghan Turkmen tribe who demonstrate a passion for learning,  likelihood of academic success and a financial need.

We are an all-volunteer, working board committed to minimizing our administration costs so we can maximize the impact from our donations.
